This trick involves adding a flip rotation by swiping the board with your hand during a straight no-comply. What makes this trick cool is that, depending on the angle, it is hard to tell how the board flips at first glance—it looks almost like magic. The method is just as it looks, but the key points are to firmly pop the tail to lift the nose, and to time the hand swipe just right to add the flip.
Some might wonder if it is even worth landing this trick, but it is actually pretty fun to do once in a while. It can also come in handy for filming street lines—it is surprisingly useful.
STEP BY STEP TIPS
1. Stance for Nocomply

Start by setting up in a straight no-comply stance. Position your front foot so it can easily come off the board, and keep your focus on your lead hand (left hand if you ride regular). At the same time, stay relaxed so you can smoothly initiate the no-comply motion.
2. Right after popping the tail.

Just like a straight no-comply, slide your front foot off the board and firmly popping the tail. Then, as the nose rises, swipe the side of the board—around the same area you would flick for a kickflip—with your fingers to add the flip rotation. This part happens very quickly, but if you get a solid pop, the board will be much easier to flip. For this trick, keeping your weight slightly toward the back seems to make it easier to control.
3.Jumping on the board like Nocomply.

Once the board flips properly, watch the rotation closely and use your front foot—just like in a no-comply—to push off the ground and jump back onto the board. If you can already do a no-comply, this trick will come pretty naturally. However, since your hand (especially the fingers that touch the board) can take some damage, it is a good idea to wear thick gloves to protect them while practicing.
It is a pretty niche trick, but if it sparks your interest, give it a try and make it yours!
