STEP BY STEP TIPS

1 . Set up in a Heelflip stance.

In a Fakie Heelflip stance, slightly twist your upper body in the opposite direction of the spin to build momentum for the blindside 180. Keep your eyes near the nose, and shift your weight slightly toward your front foot to stabilize your stance, making sure not to lean to forward.

2. Keep your eyes fixed and pop a straight Heelflip.

As you rotate your upper body into the blindside 180, if your weight and line of sight shift toward the forward, your balance will collapse and you will not be able to flick the board properly. By keeping your weight slightly over your front foot and your eyes fixed near the nose, you can firmly pop the tail and flick the Heelflip straight. This will help you achieve both height and stability in your Fakie Heelflip.

3. Maintain your line of sight and balance point all the way through the landing.

Even after catching the board, keep your line of sight and center of balance steady as you complete the rotation and land. If you have enough height and stability, landing with a slight drive adds a stylish touch.
